Libby and Keith are too cute! They got up for an early morning session with me and were fun from start to finish. Libby brought a book to represent her literary interest and love of children (she is a school teacher). Keith brought a history book on Thomas Jefferson (he is a UVA graduate from the history department). Can’t wait to photograph their wedding together next spring! xoxo

Sarah and Isaac’s wedding was sweet as a peach! We loved noting all the thoughtful details throughout their day. The hand made escort cards, table numbers and lanterns were all chosen with care. Sarah was obviously the creative genius behind it all, and it was so touching to see how excited her maids were about her ideas and vision. Isaac was calm and collected, the eye of the storm. Sarah didn’t stop smiling the whole day. Congratulations to a couple that belongs together like peaches and cream. xoxo

Jenny and Steve’s traditional southern wedding was beautiful. From start to finish, Edward and I loved being a part of their picture perfect day. Jenny put thought into so many details, and the result was a meaningful, fun, and stunning day for everyone involved. There was mouth watering southern food for dinner, scrumptious cake, and guests who were ready to celebrate (hello photobooth queue and party on the dance floor!) We wish them both the best which married life can bring. xoxo

Linnea & William {married}

Linnea and William have become sweet friends of ours. We’ve enjoyed getting to know her, and her sister Caroline, through various avenues. Their engagement session was fabulous – fun, relaxed, and full of laughter. Their wedding day was very much the same. I loved William’s touched expression as Linnea walked down the aisle. Her face was full of emotion as her father gave her away and spoke words of blessing and encouragement over the two of them. Photographing the two of them was an extreme pleasure. xoxo

Kristin & Michael {married}

Edward and I had the pleasure of traveling to Annapolis, Maryland to document Kristin and Michael on their wedding day over fourth of July weekend. We were invited to the rehearsal dinner, which is always SO much fun, and we enjoyed seeing Kristin and Michael as they were blessed and toasted by their loved ones. xoxo

Here are a few sweet words from the sweet couple … “Kristin and I cannot begin to tell you how grateful we were to have you photograph our wedding. We were so impressed by how well you guys took care of our families. Kristin and I also felt very loved by both of you through the whole thing. Megan & Stephen {married}

The weather was perfect, the sun was shining brightly, and when Edward and I arrived, Megan was ready to start the day and set into her dress. Megan had a completely gorgeous dress. It was feminine, and fit her frame perfectly! Seeing Stephen’s reaction to her walking down the aisle was so touching, and her moving response brought me to tears – seriously!

We cannot say enough good things about Jay and Elizabeth at The Inn at Westwood Farm – the rooms, service, and attention to detail here remarkable. Also, the food was amazing – delicious, savory, and mouthwatering. Edward and I are usually ready to eat anything by the time dinner is served, but we always particularly enjoy Beggar’s Banquet Catering.
